Just finished listening to "Dancing In The Streets," Garcia really gets the wheel turning on this one. I myself have never heard him stretch out that tune so much. Worth a listen. They should have stopped playing after 77' though.

Saint Stephen, American Beauty, plus Lovelight AND Smokestack, how could this show be less than six stars?
It's great to hear Ron in good form and (presumably) good health. To my mind, it's not really The Grateful Dead without him.

The GRATEFUL DEAD "Live In Concert" at the University Gymnasium, SUNY, Stony Brook, NY, U.S.A.
Classic 1970 Sound.
Get bot nights, October 30th and 31st.
I recommend adding this show to your 1970 GRATEFUL DEAD collection.
The song list has some greats such as: Smokestack Lightnin', Candyman, Friend of the Devil, Dancin' In the Streets, St Stephen into NFA into GDTRFB into Not Fade Away into Turn On Your Lovelight.
October 31st is the "Must Have" show, but the two shows together make a nice set.
Pigpen gets the first and last song of this show. He opened the show, and closed it.
